Chapter 95 The Testimony

At the Sunset Village police station, Reginaldo meets Laura leaving the office of the deputy responsible for taking her statement. The two embrace fervently.

"Darling..." Laura cries profusely, "I thought I was going to die! I thought I'd never see you again!"

"Never say that even in jest, my love!" Reginaldo hugs her tightly, afraid of releasing her, and lets her be snatched by Eduardo.

But Eduardo was in another room being heard at the custody hearing, with someone from the Public Defender's Office verifying whether the criminal's "rights" were upheld or violated.

Reginaldo points to the door, "Should I go in and give my statement? After all, I know the guy."

"The more people open their mouths, the better!" Laura angrily responds, "What about my parents?"

Reginaldo is disappointed, "I talked to your father. Now, if he comes, it's another story."

Laura pales, "He didn't believe I was almost abducted?"

"He doesn't believe it was his favorite false husband, Eduardo Casemiro." Reginaldo
