Seeing her lover’s surprise when a woman bowed before Christian, Chloe couldn’t help but be curious. After all, the woman came from an ordinary family, although not exactly lower class, and certainly not someone who followed the latest developments in the business world.

“Why are you so surprised? Who is that woman?” Chloe asked, looking at her boyfriend.

“She is the project manager’s secretary from CrispCrafter Ltd. company. Automatically, she is one of the most influential people here,” Louis explained. “B-but why is she bowing to Christian?”

Chloe was shocked by what Louis had said. She covered her mouth with her left hand, unable to believe it.

“This can’t be true. You must be mistaking her for someone else. How could a woman like that bow to Christian? Who is Christian, anyway?”
