Chapter 418

After Anika’s funeral, Christian became much quieter and more serious. The death of his foster mother had shaken him deeply.

Yve always had to initiate conversations with him because if she didn’t, Christian wouldn’t speak first. Perhaps only a few very important things could make him speak.

Zofia was almost the same as Christian, but she was in a better state. In fact, Zofia was already able to work and handle Pommes Frites because Christian still needed time to refocus on his business.

From morning till evening, Christian was always alone. Only occasionally would Darrell or Diego visit Christian’s room to talk to him.

But now, after 10 days since Anika’s death, Christian headed to the hotel lobby alone.

When Darrell saw Christian coming out of the elevator, he immediately stood up and hurried over to him, casually smoking and sipping coffee.

“Mr. Demetri! If you need anything, just let me know, I’ll go to your room, Mr. Demetri,” Darrell said with a polite and respectful demeanor.
