As Christian saw the meeting place, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of hesitation. The restaurant they were in was the most expensive in East New York. The menu items were common, similar to those found in other restaurants, but the prices were far above the market rate. All of this was due to the exclusivity and prestige the restaurant had cultivated, targeting an upscale clientele.

“Are you sure you want to meet here? It’s an expensive place, you know. The menu prices are exorbitant,” Christian remarked.

“What else can I do? He only wants to meet here. But, don’t worry about it. I don’t mind spending a lot of money here; the important thing is that I can buy the company,” Yve replied.

Christian raised an eyebrow, and a wry smile formed on his face. Given the circumstances, he knew he couldn’t force a change of location.

While it would have been effortless for Christian to cover the entire bill for the food and drinks at the restaurant or even purchase the entire establishment, he
