Chapter 73

Camila was in a state of panic as she saw her child being kidnapped. She screamed loudly, flagging down passing motorcyclists to ask for help in stopping the black jeep that had abducted Yve.

“Sir, please stop the black jeep up ahead; it’s taken my daughter. Please!” Camila pleaded with tears streaming down her face.

An onlooker immediately gave chase. Several other motorcyclists also joined in the pursuit to rescue Yve.

However, they abruptly abandoned their pursuit when someone from inside the vehicle brandished a firearm and fired shots into the air.

No one dared to chase any further, as their own safety was now in question.

The first person who came to Camila’s mind was Declan.

The woman immediately contacted Declan to inform him of what had transpired and to ask for his assistance.

“Declan, where are you?” Camila asked, her voice trembling.

“Hello, dear! I’m at the office. Why do you seem so panicked? Is it about the mayor’s issue?” Declan inquired calmly.

The case involving the
