Chapter 39

"Are you deaf? Who sent you?" David gave him another jab in his mouth, causing a tear in his upper lip.

He groaned in pain and sucked the blood oozing out of his lip. He felt pathetic about his life. What a pity! It doesn't even take David much stress before he captured him.

David couldn't contain his patience any longer. How could some people be so cruel and selfish? He just wanted to know who the person was.

"I was sent by----" He paused again and sucked on his lip as the blood continued to gush out.

David's blow wasn't just an ordinary blow. The jab felt like he was hit with a sledgehammer. It was even worse than that.

David grew angrier with his hesitation. They had already wasted too much of his time.

He had earlier suspected that their attack had been planned. Now, he wanted to know who sent them, even though he knew the attack wasn't meant for him; it was meant for someone else.

"Save my time, you fool!" David didn't take it lightly, delivering another punch to his face.
