Chapter 52

When he walked out of the door, his eyes went straight to the tower. A participant was about to jump down.

"3...2...1" The instructor counted as the participant jumped into the air with a backflip.

"What!" David's eyes were blinking with so much shock.

"That's crazy." He added as he watched the participant dip into the river below the tower. In a second, the elastic rubber snapped back as he did another bounce.

David was startled by how the participant was flexing around with the scary sport.

"Well, it's fun for you. It's a task for me." He mumbled as he couldn't move his eyes away from the tower.

When the first participant was done, another person went to the jump deck. She had the harness tied to her leg, unlike the previous person who had it around his waist.

David could read the nervousness in the lady's eyes. It seemed like it was her first time too. He couldn't wait to see how she would handle the fear.

She gazed at the river beneath the tower and held her head tightly. The fear
