"Did she agree to help us?" Smithson asked.

"Yes," Lawton said.

"We talked for a while and she told me she was going to investigate further," he continued.

"I think she's going to help us, she seemed really interested," he added.

"That is good news young master," Smithson said.

"We are finally moving forward with our plan," he added.

Lawton was still angered by how Barry treated Amanda in his presence. He wanted to go on with his plans of overthrowing Barry's company immediately.

Smithson could tell Lawton was unusually quiet and immediately asked if anything was wrong with him.

"It's about Barry," Lawton said.

"We need to be fast with our plan," he continued.

"I cannot stand him," he added.

"You have to keep your feelings in check," he added.

"If it wasn't for the current suspicion we have on him, I wouldn't have held back on finalizing our plan," Lawton said.
