CHAPTER 142:The Move

"Who is it?" Barry asked.

"It's Clara," the voice said.

"You are still here?" Barry said as he sighed in relief.

He had thought it was Amanda.

Clara would easily believe anything he says but Amanda would have been more suspicious of him.

"I saw your car when I was leaving and decided to come to check up on you," Clara said.

"It's my secretary," Barry said to his men quietly.

"I'm fine Clara," Barry said.

"I'm in a virtual meeting and I am quite busy at the moment," Barry added.

"I won't disturb you," Clara said.

"Let me wait for you while you finish up your meeting so we can both leave together," she added.

"No Clara," Barry said.

"My meeting is going to take a while and do not want to delay you," He added.

"I am not in a hurry boss," Clara said.

Barry was starting to get irritated as Clara insisted on coming in.

"You are distracting me," Barry said.

"Okay, I will leave," Clara said, as she walked back angrily to her office.
