CHAPTER 153: The dual event

Lawton nodded his head in excitement to the music playing in the car and was totally unaware of the event that just unfolded behind him.

He is excited about the wedding ring and he continues nodding his head to the music playing in the Taxi totally occupied by it.

"We are here," the driver said, as he stopped the music in the car.

Lawton opened the door of the car after paying the driver and walked into his house.

Back at Amanda's office, Smithson asked Clara for Amanda as he was there to talk to her.

"This way," she said, as she pointed towards Amanda's office.

Clara wondered what a man dressed so well wanted from Amanda as she watched him walk towards her office.

Smithson knocks at Amanda's door as he gets to her office.

"Come in," Amanda said.

The door opened at Amanda was surprised to see Smisthon walk on through the door.

"Good afternoon," she said, as she looked at him in surprise.

"Please sit," Amanda said, as she pointed to a chair in front of her.
