CHAPTER 168: Fake Faces

Amanda and Lawton soon finished unpacking and both walked down the stairs as they were starving.

Lawton then suggested they order food as they were both tired.

He walked back into their bedroom and brought out his phone.

He ordered good for Amanda and himself and walked back into the sitting room.

He sat down on the chair and Amanda leaned on him as they both waited for their food.

Lawton then suddenly remembered Amanda's parents and asked her why she had not spoken to them after the wedding.

"Let's invite your parents over for a week," Lawton said.

Amanda suddenly lifted her head from his shoulder and looked at him.

"No," Amanda said.

"What," Lawton said smiling.

He then noticed Amanda's facial expression had changed and this surprised him.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Is there something you're not telling me?" Lawton asked.

"No more secrets," Lawton said.

"Tell me what it is," he added.

"My parents were not at the wedding and we haven't spoken in a long time," Amanda said as she looked
