CHAPTER 170: A shocking find

Lawton is frustrated as he continues his search, but still does not find anything in the room as the room only contains some clothes and household appliances.

Lawton still continued his search but soon got tired of it.

He heard his phone beeping. It was a text message from Amanda asking him if he had eaten.

Lawton then immediately replied to her and told her he was still in a meeting with Smithson and was going to call her as soon as he finished the meeting before putting his phone back into his pocket.

Lawton knew there was something wrong and tried to remember if Chief Williams had anything against him or his family but could not think of anything.
