CHAPTER 63: Into The Shadows

Amanda was beyond embarrassed as she stood there watching the lady embarrass her in front of the entire guests at the party.

Amanda couldn't take it anymore long as she fled the open field running into the shadows where no one could see her.

"Amanda please wait," Emily said, as she ran but Amanda didn't wait as she had enough.

Amanda holes up into a corner crying and regretting her decision to come to the party.

"I shouldn't have come here at all, I should have just stayed at home," Amanda said to herself, as she cried.

"I have never been this embarrassed in my life and for what?" Amanda continued.

"I didn't even do anything wrong to her,' she added.

Amanda then wiped her tears and decided to go home to her husband.

She started to walk towards the gate of the mansion before realising she didn't have her purse or bag with her.

Everything was at the table and there was no way she would get home.
