CHAPTER 72: The Envelope

Barry fumes at his secretary Clara in the office as he asks about Amanda.

"Where is she," Barry said, snapping at his secretary.

"Why is she not in the office?" Barry added.

"Who is going to cover up for him," he added, glaring at her.

She had tried to explain to Barry that she hadn't been able to speak to Amanda but She hadn't been able to.

"Call her until she picks up the call," Barry said.

"Leave my office now," he added.

He then picked up his phone and dialled Amanda's number.

"Who does she think she is?" Barry said.

"She thinks she can just not come to work whenever she feels too," Barry Continued.

Barry then started to get worried as Amanda's number didn't go through.

He wondered if she was fine after Yesterday's incident at the party and wondered if it was the reason she didn't come to work.

He then thought of calling Lawton to ask after her but decided not to.
