CHAPTER 98: The Deal

The event owner looked at the amount on the cheque in surprise as he collected the cheque.

He couldn't believe his eyes as he looked at the large amount of money Lawton had written on the chequebook.

"You are still not selling it to us?" Lawton asked, looking at him.

"We have a deal," the owner said, smiling.

Lawton smiled as he heard him talk, he knew there was no way he could refuse the offer after seeing the amount he had written on the cheque.

"Over to you," Lawton said, facing the lawyer.

"Okay," the lawyer said, bringing out the purchase agreement.

He then handed the purchase agreement over to the event centre owner and handed a copy to Lawton.

"You both have to sign on it," the lawyer said, handing a pen to Lawton and the event centre owner.

"Sign here," he added, showing them both the place they needed to sign on.

Lawton smiled as he signed the purchase agreement, happy he had finally achieved what he wanted.

"We should celebrate this," Lawton said smiling.
