"Cora.. you should not judge life with what happened with your father and I Maybe my Marriage was a failure but there are people are happily married" Vanessa said in a soft tone, like she was trying to convince Cora.

Cora scoffed. "You don't need to worry mom. I'm not so short sighted as to judge marriage because of you and Dad. You are right. Even though he left his wife and five year old daughter to go off with some woman, there are still happy marriages around. I just don't want to get married and this doesn't have anything to do with anyone else!" Cora said. After saying her peice, she walked away.
