Lindsey and Karen ran towards the field an into a barn where an old man in overall was busy feeding his pigs.

"Morning Mr Willams." They greeted in unison,as Mr Williams turned towards them with a smile on his dirty face.

"Ah....if it isn't my two favourite people.. Lindsey and Karen." He said wiping his dirty hands on his overall as he walked towards them.

"Come give your uncle Willam a hug." He said with a tooty grin, his arms wide open

"Is that really necessary?" Asked Lindsey with a look on her face,as Karen shrugged beside her.

"Of course ,come on." He said motioning towards them,as Lindsey and Karen walked slowly towards him.

"Now,these are my girls." He said eveloping them in a tight hug " since you girls are here,i will need you to help feed the Chickens." He continued disengaging from the hug.

"Wait... isn't that Charles duty?" Asked Karen as she stared at him, while Lindsey was busy wiping the mud stain from her cloth.

"Well he ain't here,so hurry up." He motioned towards them, dumping the bags of corn in front of them. After some mumbling from both Karen and Lindsey they moved towards the Chicken Hatch with the bags.

"Don't forget your gloves." Yelled Mr Williams.

"Don't forget your gloves." Mimic Lindsey "i just wanted to ride a horse."

"Stop being rude." Caution Karen with a slap to Lindsey's back. "Let's feed the Chickens and then you can enjoy your horse ride." She continued as she enter the Chicken hatch with her bags.

"Fine." Grumbled Lindsey behind Karen as she clutch her bag ." Stay." She yelled as chickens began flapping around immediately they got in "how are we supposed to feed them?"

"We just put the food over here." Karen said as she poured the corn into a plate "then we go." She continued moving away from there,as a chicken walked towards the food followed by Ten more before the rest joined. "See,it wasn't that hard."

"Fine." Whispered Lindsey before doing the same thing as Karen. "You're right,it wasn't hard" she said with a laugh.

"Give me a sec,i need to call my mum." Karan said and walked out of the hatch. "Give Mrs Katherine my love" Lindsey voice rang out as Karen removed the gloved then reached into her jean pocket removing her pink phone, she quickly dialed the number.

"Honey ." A femal voice chipped in happily from the other end.

"Mum, sorry for not calling you earlier." karen quickly apologize.

"It's okay dearie." Mrs Katherine said with a smile as she walked towards her lawn admiringly the flowers with her phone secured to her ear. "So when will i be seeing you?"

"Soon,me and Lindsey are about to go horse riding."Karen mumbled out quietly.

"Horse riding? And Mr and Mrs A****n approved of this?" Mrs Katherine asked with a look of shock on her face.

"Yes they did." She replied looking towards the hatch as laughter and chicken noises can be heard. "Lindey sent her regards."

"Well that is new... Lindsey..do greet her for me" Mrs Katherine said as she relaxed on her chair. "Be home soon dearie,i made your favourite."

"I will Mum,love you." Karen said with a smile.

"Love you too." Mrs Katherine said and hung up.

Karen took a deep breath, putting her phone back into her pocket, she entered the hatch. "Come on we need to tell Mr Williams we are done." She gestured towards Lindsey and left the hatch to Mr William who she spotted closed to the pen. "Mum said i should greet you" she said immediately Lindsey caught up to her.

"Can't wait to see her, I've missed her so." Lindsey said with a smile as she stopped behind Mr Williams who squatted as he played with his pigs, she then coughed grabbing his attention .

"Girls..i can see you're through." He said with a smile standing up.

"Yep." They replied.

"I need one more favour from you guys." He urged.

"What is it?" Lindsey asked her face grim.

"Well ...i need you guys to help me bring out the eggs." He mumbled looking down.

"You mean the chickens eggs? From under them?" Karen asked quite perplexed, she looked towards Lindsey who only scoffed.

"Don't worry, they don't bite." He said looking at them. "Normally Charles helps with the eggs, but as you know...he ain't here,so please guys... help this old man" he pleaded.

"Fine, but you owe us." Lindsey said with a defeated sign as she turned towards the Hatch with Karen in towed.

"Ain't you gonna remove your necklace." Karan said as she point towards the pendant round Lindsey's neck.

"Why?" Lindsey asked rubbing it gently.

"Well .for one we are going to remove eggs from under chicken, secondly they might fight and mistakenly spoil your pendant." Karen said with her hands to her waist as she stared at Lindsey.

"But Mr Williams said they don't bite." Lindsey tinted her head to one side in confusion.

"For him they don't,but we are strangers to them..just saying it's better save than sorry." Karen said and entered the Hatch.

Lindsey signed thinking about what Karen said before she gently put her pendant under her shirt. " Crisis avoided" she thought with a smile before entering the Hatch. Karen turned towards her and on seeing the small bumb on her chest kept quiet and went back to slowly but quietly removing egg from Chicken.

"Get the crate." Karen whispered, her back to Lindsey as she took another egg . Lindsey walk over to the shaft ,grabbed two crate ,gave one to Karen who mumbled a quiet "thanks". She then went over to the other side as she carefully picked the eggs making sure not to provoke mother hen, before you knew it her crate were full of eggs.

"Done." She showed her crate to Karen as she removed her gloves.

"Same here." Karen chuckled as she watched the smiles on her bestfriend face.

"Lets go show Mr Williams,so that i can have my horse ride." Lindsey said with a cheer as she ran out of the hatch.

"Be careful." Yelled Karen as she slowly walked out with the crate safely in her hands.

Lindsey stretched forth her hands giving Mr Williams the crates filled with eggs,as he collected it with a smile on his face.

"Thanks Lindsey you just made my work easier." He smiled just as Karen walked up to him with her own crates of eggs. " Thanks Karen. Now you both can go and enjoy your horse riding."

Lindey and Karen mumbled a quick goodbye as they ran out of the barn.they came to a half in front of a stables, they let out deep breath, panting harshly.

"Wow that was quite a run." Lindsey exhaled as she stared at the different horses as they roam round a wide space barricaded by a wooded stick as a man with cowboy hat poured more haystack over the wooded stick, a white mare proudly walked over to the hay as her beautiful white tail flow beautifully with the breeze.

Lindsey walked over to one of the men in cowboy heart while Karen stayed behind, her hands folded as she took in the scene in front of her.

"Excuse me sir." Lindsey tug at the man clothe , his back was turn to her.

He looked behind when he felt the tug " what can i do you for?" He asked turning fully towards her,a wide smile spread across his face. " Lindsey!" He smiled as he use his hat to wipe his hands.

"Mr Henry." Lindsey grin widely.

"Let me guess." He folded his hand into a fist and placed it on his jaw as if to look deep in thought ,he then snap his fingers " you are here for the horse ride."

"You did say i can come anytime." She said with a mischievous smirk.

"I did say that ,didnt i?." He retorted as he let out a deed throated chuckle,he turned towards the wide field, his two finger going into his mouth as he whistled. The Beautiful White Mare came galloping towards him,he let out his hand gently towards its head as it nuzzled closer,he then brought out a carrot from his pocket and fed it to the White mare " This here is Diana." He said softly as he stroke her head "be gentle with her." He gave the rein over to Lindsey as he gently put a saddle on the horse back so as not to spook her "Good luck." he said moving away as he let Lindsey inside the open field.
