"Ready." Philip replied breathing heavily.

"Okay." Jake said and inhaled slowly. " Here goes nothing." He muttered and carefully lowered the metal while Alvin tightly held unto him from behind to prevent him from falling.

Philip took four large gulp of air and then grabbed unto the metal just as he let go of the vine. "Okay." He stated in a shaky voice.

Jake turned to Alvin and gave a nod before turning back to Philip, his legs steady on the ground. "5....4...3..." Jake counted down, a death grip on the metal.

".....2.....1." Jake and Alvin yelled out together.

Jake gripped the metal with both hands, he inhaled deeply and began to pull, but the weight of Philip and the sticky mud kept pulling him in.

Alvin focused all his strength and dragged Jake back. They were able to lift Philip up displaying his now visible chest,his waist down was still inside the mud. "You are doing well." Philip praised with a smile on his face , he was happy that half his body was now visible.
