The Triumphant Escape

Chapter Sixty Five: Anguish.

Carmichael's smirk widened, revealing a cruel glint in his eyes. "I admire your bravery, Lindsey, but it is misplaced." He said. "I do not want to hurt you, but I will if I must."

Lindsey flinch at his threat, her heart was racing. She had never seen someone like this before, so cold and ruthless. She could not let him harm her, she had to do something. But what? She glanced around , looking for anything that might help her. Her eyes scanning her environment for anybody that can help her, but the only people she was seeing was him and his men. She gave a defeated sigh.

Carmicheal saw the look on her face, and with a smile advanced towards her, his movements slow and measured. "I can see you have made up your mind." He said, his voice calm and smooth completely different from before. "Good."

Lindsey tightened her grip as the men made way for her, allowing her to walk inside on her own as they walked round her giving her no room for escape.

They reach the room that she ran away from.
