Chapter Twenty Six: The Hunt II.

He opened his eyes and with curious eyes watched as the stick flew in the direction of the unaware antelope.

The antelope yelped in pain when the sharpen stick pierce its leg, it raised it head and stared at the men who threw the weapon before it ran into the forest, the injured leg on the air.

Jake and Alvin snapped out of their shock state and quickly gave chase. Though the antelope ran with only three legs, it was still fast, it turned the other way as the sharpen stick till on its leg hit a tree and fell down. The antelope screamed in pain before vanishing into the woods.

Jake and Alvin who were chasing it, came to a halt when they could no longer see it, they panted heavily looking in both direction.

Jake sighed. "Our second hunt and still we missed." He muttered, tiredness evident in his voice and crouched down when he saw his sharpen stick on the ground, he picked it and stood up.
