Roland's eyes widened in shock. "What? Why would I do that?"

Butler Lucas sighed. "Think about it, young master. The stress of running the company has caused you nothing but pain and grief. Perhaps it's time to let go and move on with your life. Give the company up to Alex and start fresh, find a new purpose in life."

Roland shook his head vehemently. "No, I can't do that. The Lafayette Group is my father's legacy, it's my legacy too. I can't just hand it over to someone who wants to tear it all down."

Butler Lucas put a hand on Roland's shoulder. "I understand that, young master. But what good is the legacy if it's causing you more harm than good? You're suffering, physically and mentally, don't you think it's time to put your own wellbeing first?"
