Katherine's Predicament 2

The doctor was sitting in his office, a concerned look on his face as he spoke to Anthony.

"I'm sorry to tell you this, but patient has taken some odd drugs with an empty stomach. I've prescribed some medication for her to make sure she takes the drugs properly."

Anthony nodded, a worried expression on his face. "Thank you, Doctor," he said. "I'll make sure she takes it."

The doctor nodded and watched as Anthony left the office. Just as he was about to close the door, a call came in from Katherine's mother. He answered it quickly.

"Hello?" he said.

"Anthony," came the voice of Katherine's mother on the other end of the line. "Why haven't you both come to visit me yet? Is something wrong?"

Anthony sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Katherine was rushed to the hospital," he said softly. "The doctor said she had taken some odd drugs with an empty stomach and prescribed her some medication."
