The car ride to the private hospital was tense, to say the least. Roland sat in the back seat, staring out the window with a scowl on his face.

Beside him sat Butler Lucas and across from them sat the chauffeur and the driver.

Butler Lucas tried to make small talk, but Roland was in no mood for it.

He simply grunted in response and continued to stare out the window.

When they arrived at the hospital, Roland angrily stormed out of the car, followed closely by Butler Lucas.

The nurses at the front desk tried to greet them, but Roland ignored them and went straight to the ward where his father, Chairman Lafayette, was staying.

His father was looking much healthier than the last time Roland had seen him, and he was happy to see his son.

However, when he saw the look on Roland's face, he knew something was wrong.

"What's the matter, son?" he asked, as Roland pulled out an envelope.

Roland thrust the envelope at his father, telling him to open it and read what was inside.
