Chapter 140 - Wrath
Inside the city, the battle is still raging on. The screeching of weapons, sounds of agony, and screams of death can be heard.

The sounds travel to the citizens that were hiding in emergency shelters. The children are covering their ears with their hands while many mothers are hushing their babies that started crying because of the sounds of battle.

The continuous explosions are still ongoing. But the west and east walls are already on the brink of collapse because half of the magicians shifted their attention from protecting the wall to defending their fellow magicians.

When the main gate was destroyed, the imperial army run wild and goes everywhere. Those who were not blocked by city forces and were able to slip through targeted the magicians stationed in the west and east walls.

Blood continued to seep through on the ground that day.
