32. The Signature family

Kaiden awoke from his sleep with a headache. He lazily got out of bed, then opened the window curtains, letting in the sunlight freely. He frowned as the light streamed in and made his eyes glare.

The headache had disappeared by itself by the time Kaiden sat back down on the bed.

Kaiden still felt tired after yesterday's event, made even more so by Jenni and Karina's constant fighting over trivial things. Last night after arriving at the apartment Kaiden went straight to bed, he didn't know if Jake and Nicho had finished buying school supplies.

Kaiden came out of his room, he just realized that there were a lot of things in the living room, but Kaiden skipped it and went to the kitchen.

When he got to the kitchen, he reflexively prepared the ingredients to make a normal breakfast.
