Brooks began moving backwards as fear began piercing into him. Looking at Nathan's enraged eyes, Brooks knew Nathan wasn't playing around, and he meant every single word he was saying about torturing him really bad if he didn't comply with him.

"So what do you want from me this time?" Brooks asked, refusing to receive the pain that Nathan wanted to inflict on him.

"Hmmm, it looks like you are in for the game," Nathan said with a sneer.

"I want you to answer just a single question for me, and I promise not to hurt you. Do you understand?" Nathan asked, to which Brooks quickly replied.

Maybe she might be faking an act just to get him to fall into her trap.Nathan ignored what Sophia said, then walked out on her as he continued moving forward."I love you, Nathan, and if there's any way I can fix my mistake—all the bad I have done to you in the past—then I will be delighted to partake because I can't stop thinking about you," Sophia spoke, which made Nathan humph without saying anything as he continued walking away.Nathan got to his car, then rode home.
