Coming to the Rescue

Jasper whistled as he drove along the highway. He was in a very good mood, so he drove at a very high speed, not caring about the road rules.

Finally, he had gotten to drive one of his dream cars. He felt so good while controlling the wheels.

The highway that he was driving on had no one on it anyway and was deserted, so he wasn't afraid of hitting anyone or causing accidents.

Besides, he had good control of cars, so he was not in any way afraid of hitting anyone and just fired off at the highest speed possible.

"Huh?"

Jasper suddenly froze, looking at the road. A figure had suddenly run into the road, and he was going to hit her if he wasn't careful.

"Shit!"

Jasper Cursed stepped hard on the brakes and pulled the hand brakes at the same time, drifting the car and stopping the car in a horizontal manner not too far from the figure.

"What the heck! Are you blind, or do you have something covering your eyes!" Jasper cursed angrily, alighting from the car.

Jasper continued to curse as he was angry; if he had a second late, he would have committed murder even though it was not an intentional one, and was still going to be charged for it.

He had to teach whoever it was a good lesson, there was no way he could withhold it. He was going to lash out at whoever it was. It was none of his business.

Stepping outside, he froze as he looked at the figure. It was a female figure, her body was filled with bruises, and she was shivering in fear.

She wasn't even looking at Jasper but at the other side. Jasper frowned, looking at the lady, then toward the place she was looking at before approaching her cautiously.

"Excuse me!" He said slowly, walking towards the lady.

"Run for your life, you don't have to see this." The woman said, not looking at him.

Jasper frowned, looking at the woman; though she looked rather tattered, she still looked sane, so he wondered what the heck was wrong and why she was saying something like that.

"Run!"

The woman yelled as the bush on the other side rustled even harder.

Jasper frowned, looking at the woman; though he wanted to leave, he could tell that something was wrong and thus didn't just want to leave. It would be wrong to leave her in such a state.

"Excuse me?" Jasper pressed, wanting to help the woman.

"I said leave!" The woman screamed with all her strength, facing Jasper, sending shivers down his spine.

"Fine, I'll leave," Jasper muttered and turned around, wanting to leave.

"It would have been best if you had left since you had the chance, but since you're here, you have to pay the price." A sneer came as five figures in black clothes dashed out of the bushes.

"Didn't I tell you to leave?" The woman suddenly sobbed, looking at Jasper.

"Now, I'll be the cause of the death of another," She cried.

"I won't run away, just take him and leave me." She continued, walking in front of Jasper.

"Even if you don't say it, you'll die today." One of the men laughed, bringing out a pistol.

"Just let him leave... please." The lady pleaded.

"How about you let us have our fun before we kill you, then we'll let him leave". One of the men suddenly laughed maniacally, licking his lips without hiding the lust in his eyes.

"Yes, just let him leave, I can't have any other innocent blood on my neck." She sobbed.

"Hey, this is your chance, scram!" One of the men sneered, turning to face Jasper.

"And you'll leave that car behind." The man continued, pointing at Jasper's car.

"Hurry up and run!" The lady turned to Jasper and said.

"No, thank you, but I can't leave. Especially not with my new car behind." Jasper refused, shaking his head. He had been dying to get the car, and now he was going to leave it because, for some dumb reason, it was impossible.

"Since you've chosen death, you can just go to Hades." The man laughed and pulled the trigger.

"Boom!"

"Arghhhh!"

The shot was fired, but a yell came right after the shot.

"You missed it, didn't you?" Jasper laughed, looking at the man who had just fired the shot, his hands bleeding.

When the men arrived, he stylishly picked some pebbles on the floor, so when the man was about to shoot, he shot the pebbles at the man so hard that the man's finger started bleeding, at the same time deflecting the shot so it didn't meet him.

"How dare you?" The men were furious and immediately pulled out their pistols.

Jasper, who was ready, immediately shot out the remaking for Pebbles in his hands at the men, making the gun fall to the floor.

Before they could do anything else, he rushed forward and kicked the gun away.

With a knee kick, he sent the first man flying.

"Bang!" The man hit the railings of the highway.

Moving towards the second man, he sent him flying with an uppercut. The men who were not expecting this were like a child fighting an adult.

Jasper's movements were fast and precise, hitting the right place he was supposed to hit. The men were rendered helpless almost immediately and couldn't even move.

Moving towards the third, he grabbed him and flipped him over before knocking him out with a punch.

Before the other two could realize what was happening, he rushed forward, grabbed their arms, and, in no time, knocked them to the floor.

Without warning, he grabbed the girl's waist, opened the door of his car, and put her in before rushing towards the other side and getting into the car.

He couldn't waste time; they were assassins, and their reaction speed would be great. If he lingered any longer, he would be dead meat.

It was not as though he had guns or anything. Neither was he invincible. Though he had a good knowledge of firearms, it wasn't as though he was immune to them.

Stepping hard on the accelerator, Jasper reversed the car and, at full speed, drove past the men without looking back.
