The Orcs' chanting continued as I stood on top of the statue before motioning for them to stop as I said:"All of you shall meet me at the coordinates I will give you, announce everyone as I need all the manpower I can get to assault the Lightning Chaser's stronghold, so go fast!"My words made the Orcs that were still around chanting start bowing their heads, and then running around, going to gather all of the Orcs that Skeral has branded since I gave them the coordinates of the Lightning Chasers' stronghold, and there was no reason for them to stay around anymore after I gave the order.I looked at the Orcs quickly making their way through underground caves and tunnels as they went to inform all of the forces that Skeral had gathered up till now about the upcoming battle.I looked down at my hands as I entered once again into the spatial dimension to start traveling toward more of my troops. The ones that I dominated got the message through our connection, but I still had to go to M
My soul sense analyzed the whole fortress, but I found some strange locations that I would need to approach further if I wanted to see what was happening inside. However, I knew that doing such a thing would most likely ring an alarm, and that wasn't something that I would like.Alarming them of the incoming army wasn't a good idea as that would give them more time to prepare. For now, I decided to try and analyze the condition and makings of the barrier to find a chance where I could break it.It looked perfect on the surface, but maybe this perfection was just an illusion meant to deter those who tried to break it.Now how would I go and get a crack at it without making a ruckus? It should take at least two days before my troops would arrive, and considering the long-range observation abilities that the Lightning Chasers have, they should be able to identify the gathering army quite easily as none of them had the spatial knowledge that I have now gained.I was able to observe them f
I and Mandaia were making our way around the fortress in the underground, trying to find any location that we could use to enter the place undetected.Unfortunately, no matter how we tried to look through around, we were unable to find another weak spot beside the one that would attract the attention of every living being in the fortress, which was against my original plan.I sighed and looked at Mandaia, who was unable to keep herself calm as she wanted to go and fight with her people. But considering she was going to fight someone very strong with me soon enough, she decided to keep her wits and wait.I tried to find any place that I could use to enter the fortress, but this place did not have any cave or underground system that I could use, every tunnel that we were using right now was created right at this moment by me using earth elemental energy.Unfortunately, the castle was covered by the barrier in a perfect loop, so I couldn't break it from below or above. That was a problem
The two books, the golden ball, the small rusted knife, the clock, the golden fork, the shovel, the medallion, the stone pencil, and lastly, the silver coin. These were the ten pieces of the legacy that I now had in the storage spatial dimension. My soul burned with the addition of the three new pieces as they created a symbiosis with the seven legacies that I previously held. The golden ball's soul-forging knowledge had already been seared into my brain beforehand, but now, two more legacies were being sent to my soul. The medallion contained the legacy of soul-splitting. It was like creating a clone to help your soul survive if it would ever be destroyed. The split soul would then grow onto its own, regaining the memories of the main soul if it perished.Normally when someone died, their soul was sent to hell, but with the creation of a soul-attracting altar where you would put the piece of your soul, that wasn't the case anymore. This was a good way to revive since the soul would r
It felt like a pair of eyes was always on my body, never fading. The slimy feeling that I was constantly being watched made me almost want to hurl on the spot. I gritted my teeth as I realized what that blood arrow did to me. After it had dissolved into my bloodstream it created a resonation with the elder that I ran away from, basically giving him a radar that could detect me at any time, regardless of where I was hiding! The arrow dissolved too quickly, or else I would have cut off my left leg before it could spread... I couldn't help but gnash my teeth in anger as I controlled the coordinates of the spatial tunnel that I just entered to make my way toward the Night Elves forest. This was the sole location that the three Orcs couldn't enter with their vast amount of strength, so them knowing that I was inside the forest wouldn't help them one bit! However, I wasn't in the forest yet, and even with the spatial traveling, it would take me at least one or two minutes to arrive at
I could feel myself falling slowly as I realized that my consciousness had gone to sleep. My body was unresponsive as it needed time to heal, and this made me very uncomfortable. While I have escaped the pursuit of those Orcs, that didn't mean I was safe in any circumstance!I wasn't sure if the gathering of the ten legacies will shield me from the Night Elves passively or if I would need to activate all of them together. That was a problem that made me mutter to myself as I looked at the darkness that surrounded me.Was this my mindscape?Every time I entered this type of realm I would use Shuria's mindscape, so I was never in my own until now because I didn't have time to enter such a deep meditative trance that was almost like sleep. But in this situation, it was truly sleeping. My body needed the extra healing factor from sleeping as it used too much energy to keep itself alive after I severed my own neck.As I looked around the place started to light up, showing memories, techniq
After stomping onto my desire to taste Night Elf flesh once again, then I looked in the opposite direction, where the patrol went. The location of the 11th legacy wasn't very close, but Alliron did his best to put the legacies far apart from each other while being within the boundaries of the elven forest at the same time. This was most likely so his fellow elves couldn't get their hands on his legacies, meaning that he wasn't on good terms with them.I scratched my chin as I traveled forward into the forest, everywhere around me were trees, trees, and more trees. They were all vibrant and full of life, and the leaves were a green so beautiful that it would take your attention for quite a bit of time. The flowers were blooming, and the fruits that hung from the branches of some trees were plump and looked quite delicious. It was a paradise on earth. But even though it looked like paradise, that didn't mean it was one.I could sense multiple beings with hostile intent roaming these woo
Being annoyed was my last worry as I waited for the squirrel to start moving once again. However, the little annoying thing didn't want to budge in any shape or form!It was moving so slowly that it made me want to break out of my meditation and snatch it, but I knew that I would fall for its trap if I did that.It wanted me to break my meditation so it could run back into the withered tree trunk. But I knew that it was forced to move as long as I was meditating!I sat under the withered tree, and time passed slowly, I checked my internal clock from time to time as the sun that shined above the elven forest cast down and night came.Crickets started to sing as they could be heard almost everywhere in the forest, boosting my concentration and improving my meditation, making the squirrel's small nose twitch in annoyance.I knew that the closer the squirrel got into my range, the slower it made itself to extend its lifespan, but I continued to wait.Time passed once again, and the sun re
