Now that I was putting 100% of my attention on Janas and her gang, I was able to identify the reason they were able to continuously rev up their strength and continue doing the missions, even though initially they had a tough time killing even the grunts on the 5* tasks. There was a slight flicker below their feet that connected them, I could see that the connection extended from the sole of their feet toward the center of their chest and their heads. With a little bit of soul-search, every part of their technique was revealed to me. They could support each other through the connection they made. The basics of the technique seemed like they were extracted from a barrier of some kind, but the barrier was applied to the body instead of a special medium. After looking through the majority of the items that I had a user for, I closed the shop screen and sighed. It looked like it was nigh time for me to start doing those simulation missions to accumulate points for my future endeavors. I already mastered the basics and the more advanced parts of barrier making, there was still the production rune that needed to be uncovered, but that would come with time and more research into it, even the greatest barrier maker who made the academy's barrier didn't know how to craft the production rune properly, so I shouldn't beat myself over it too much. We quickly moved through the Academy's hallways as we reached the Mission Simulation room.Unlike before, when there was no one in the room because Janas was scaring them away, the room had quite a lot of students now.However, when Janas appeared, most of them became distracted while they were fighting the opponents of their low-level 1* or 2* missions, some of them got injured and had the simulation end, while others were able to barely dodge and curse under their breath as they saw Janas return to 'torment them'.They all expected Janas to already make a move on them but she simply ignored all of their antics as she looked at my back before we created a team using the interactive light screen.The light screen flickered briefly as it told me that the limit of people per team was 10, which made me wonder how did Janas and her team work it out when they had 16 people previously, did they split into two teams of 8 that worked together? We didn't have to wait too much time because the people I hired were professionals who valued their reputations. The arrival of the two architects along with the 15 workers was quite quick, not taking them much more than a few hours. They were all stationed on a nearby planet, not too far from the academy, just in case someone from the academy who would require their work would hire them. Unsurprisingly, not many people hired them considering that the number of people that could do the 5-7* missions wasn't that high.
