As I was being dragged around, people started to look at us, whispering to each other, and wondering what Nua's mother was doing with me, considering she was married.

People loved to gossip, regardless of race, and it didn't take much time for some rumors to spread.

But it wasn't like I cared, nor did Nua's mother.

As we made our way through the city, we arrived at the biggest building that could be found around.

It was a tower, ten meters tall. It was decorated with some big jewels on every floor on the outside, and the jewels in question were flickering with elemental light that was helpful to those who trained, rested, or simply lived inside the tower.

This was a special location for the underground city, and I was quite surprised the humanized elves parted with this place so easily. Did the jewels have other functions that I couldn't decipher at first glance?

My questions had to wait as we appeared at the entrance of the tower where Nua's mother knocked three times before waiting
