After Ludeus killed the 20 elves and made them his subordinates, we left the underground mining area and started to wander through the base middle city. I would occasionally use my new third eye to get used to it and improve my resistance to the slight side effects. I wasn't sure why we were wandering under Ludeus's invisibility veil, but soon enough I got my answer: "Minato, it's time for us to leave, appoint someone from the blood elf tribe as the leader of this place, we have to talk with the others from the north continent about the invasion, and I would like for you to be by my side during the meeting." I didn't have any attachments to this place, so I met up with Sikaw and the elders before telling them the truth, and introducing them to Ludeus. At first, they didn't believe it, but Ludeus could be quite persuasive, and his strength was so far above Sahrona's that even if they didn't want to be subsidiary subordinates to him, they couldn't refuse. After that, I appointed Sik
Ludeus clutched his head as he felt weakened, but he didn't drop to the ground in front of the demon, he stood still for a few seconds and chanted some words, creating a fire and wind barrier around his body that protected him from the influence of the demonic being.I was paralyzed by the same influence, but a little bit of Ludeus's barrier came my way and resuscitated my body from its stasis as I started to take in deep breaths. The face on the centipede's head rose its eyebrows as it looked at Ludeus and said:"Fire Church Maiden bloodline of the Fire God, 60% awakened, pure Wind God techniques and an excellent soul."With one glance, it saw through all of Ludeus's secrets, but Ludeus kept his face serious as he said:"Tell me the contents of the mission that Minato has to go through. If it's something way above his current strength, I will refuse, regardless of what you say or do!"A chuckle came out of the small face's mouth as it continued:"How cute, you still think you can do
I started by attacking with a feint and appearing in front of the wraith afterward, but my hands went directly through him!Shuria shook his head as he looked at me and pointed two fingers at me. I could feel three daggers being impaled in my chest as I coughed out nothing. Since we were in my mental place, there was no blood to be coughed here, but I felt that the surroundings started to shake after I had taken those spectral daggers to the chest.Which meant that my mental palace would break down if my apparition here was damaged too much, I wasn't sure if the wraith would be free if that happened, but I didn't want to find out.I concentrated on my energy and sent it to my soul as I charged an elemental ball that I threw at Shuria, only for him to snort as he taunted:"Elemental energy against an elf? Your technique lacks any finesse, it's so basic that even a 5-year-old elf would be able to do better!"He deflected the energy ball, but what he didn't expect was for a bunch of dark
After I lost consciousness, my soul wandered for a while before Ludeus connected me with the wraith's mental space, making me appear in the same foggy place just like before. This time around, there were many cracks in the sky, and I could feel that the sun behind it was slowly poking its head out.I wasn't sure if this meant the wraith was getting weaker, or stronger.I concentrated my energy, to scan the surroundings, and I found Shuria skulking on the ground, seemingly not realizing that I have connected to his mindscape once again. He was pretty weakened, and I could feel that there was also something wrong with him, which was the best situation for me.I stealthily approached him from behind as I thrust my hand through his chest, grabbing ahold of his heart and squeezing it tightly, this should be the place where his true soul lay. However, an electric current mixed with a toxic sharp breeze hit me from the front as Shuria's neck moved until his head faced me, even though his bod
I nodded at Ludeus's question and said:"I have complete control over the wraith now, I have gained all of his techniques, and I'm ready to go, shall we?"Ludeus immediately created a cloud beneath our feet as we soared up through the trees in the swamp before making our way toward the Duramato continent border. The speed we used was as quick as the one that took us to the swamp, and it didn't take us more than three hours to arrive at the border.Nothing was separating the human continent from the orc's continent, mostly because the orcs never showed signs of invasion, and secondly, the humans thought that even if the orcs invaded, they didn't need to separate the continents with any defensive wall that would take tons of resources because they thought that the orcs wouldn't be strong enough to get past the defensive region which we passed the way to here.It was pretty dumb, but humans were very lax these days, the Churches warred amongst themselves, so they didn't have time to thin
I snuck amidst the unconscious bodies of the drunk orcs as I made my way through their village, getting closer to the seemingly older orcs who had many battle scars on their bodies.I approached one of these old orcs and grabbed him by the head as my skin glowed a soft grey-silver and I woke him up as the wraith went to work, dominating his weakened will due to the alcohol that was running rampant through his body, making him my puppet in no more than two seconds. The elder orc did wake up, but he was still drunk,"*Hicc*, who is this? Master?"He also seemed to be slurring his words as I gave him a tight slap and created some elemental water energy that I splashed his face with, making him slightly sober as he fell onto one knee and said:"New master, good master!"His vocabulary was somewhat limited, but I understood what he was saying, when I questioned him about the whereabouts of a war chief, a scared expression overtook his face as he said:"I.. Warthog doesn't know where war ch
The Snake Hunter's tribe was just in front of me. They had a giant wall made of dark stone that protected their city from the attacks of beasts, and there was also the addition of quite a lot of guards that were standing around the entrances to the city to ward off any scattered desert monstrosities that haven't been picked up by the archers which I could see were surveying the lands from the towers made above the walls. The orcs were dumb, but that didn't mean they didn't have the potential to learn, and it was obvious here that whoever created this city could be considered to be a genius among the orcs.He would be a great addition to my army here on the Duramato continent. The orcs that I subjugated aren't smart, and they would be only good to follow orders, but having more than one man that can give the orders would make the potential of my army even higher. I needed generals, not grunts. But for that to happen, I needed to infiltrate this fortress made of dark stone first.I coul
The Orc was agile and knew his ins and outs in combat, but his size still made him an easier target and somewhat messed with his flexibility. Thus, I was able to capitalize on that and get ahold of his chest before ramming my head into his chin multiple times until he became dizzy. The problem was that this tall Orc finally snapped and got angry after I made his world spin around him. He roared and started trashing around, using his impressive physique to destroy the buildings around him and due to a moment of my carelessness, he even was able to hit me in the leg, slightly making it bend awkwardly, showing that the Orc's strength was very high if it was able to injure me in such a way through my tempered body's defenses. His physical strength was too high, and he was too enraged to dodge any of my attacks, but he was seemingly a mountain of a being as he took on all of my ranged attacks without flinching and started to charge toward me. I was able to dodge out of the way at the
