Shira's head moved slightly as she opened her eyes and glanced at me before smiling, giving me a peace sign as she said cutely:"Success!"I nodded at her, then I sat near her as the somewhat weakened and slightly injured Lisar and Malaria sat opposite of us on the meditating mats.Professor Fufflesnake made his way toward us, standing slightly farther from the center of the half-circle we made.He looked down at our sitting forms and coughed a bit to regulate his voice, then he started to explain using a raspy tone:"The metal and poison laws interact quietly through fusion, but instead of going directly to the relationship between these two, I shall start with the easier law."Using his pale skinny fingers, he drew a grey-colored shield made out of energy into the air.He then started to dissect the shield slowly as he explained:"The metal law is made of 3 big segments, sturdiness, sharpness, and malleability.""Sturdiness is how hard you can make your metal be or how hard you can
This time around, instead of needles being inserted in our brains, Fufflesnake changed the way he imparted the law to us.We were all sitting on the meditation mat, just like before, our eyes were wide open as we concentrated on Fufflesnake's figure. The teacher in question was currently sweating a little bit as he created a small green powder cloud before he opened his mouth to say:"Before I impart you this knowledge and experiences, I will first explain to you about the poison law."He glanced toward Shira as he continued:"Some people can comprehend the poison law from either encountering too many poisons, getting afflicted by them or simply due to the specialty of their bloodline. Even though I have encountered quite a lot of poisons during my life, I belong to the latter category, just like my name indicates, I have a snake bloodline.""I won't go into details about the bloodline, but all I can say is that it helped me greatly to learn and master the poison law."He then glanced
My train of thought was broken by a quick slashing attack that almost cut through my sides with its sharpness. I had reinforced that part preventively using the metal law's hardness, but it wasn't enough considering how far Fufflesnake was ahead of me regarding the metal law. His appliances were pretty smart as well, which made me copy them and attack him in the same way, slowly adapting to his fighting style while learning more and more about the metal law. Unfortunately, the more I learned, the harder it became to master it. I was slowly touching upon the limits of the laws. They couldn't be mastered immediately in quick bursts, there needed to be delays between them, it was just like muscles and other aspects of the body. Training too much without any rest would lead to the muscles breaking. Any sudden and constant changes would need to be adapted, and it seemed like this applied to the laws as well. The moment I reached 60% mastery, I realized that I couldn't take any more
After the door closed behind us, Shira and I entered the room. The walls were bare, and there wasn't much in the room besides a bed and a desk, but it was pretty spacious as there was an empty training area to the side where you could meditate or learn some offensive techniques...After I finished looking around, I turned my gaze toward Shira, who had already dropped off all her clothes and revealed her naked body to me.She gave me a natural look and said:"Well, now we have to consume our marriage, right?"I nodded toward her and took off my clothes before directly pouncing on her, pushing her onto the bed...The sound of clapping and Shira's moans could be heard echoing in the room, but nothing else could be heard from the outside as the room was soundproof. After a few hours passed, I and Shira were staying down on the bed. Her head was on my chest as we looked at the ceiling of the dorm room. Her forehead was filled with sweat which stuck some of her blood-red hair to it.Shira's
Soon enough, the lecture had ended, making the students in the classroom rummage over the words that the teacher had said. They even started to put new or refreshed knowledge to use, trying to comprehend and master the art of barriers.I looked at their attempts with some interest as most of them failed to create a barrier like I and Shira did in the previous classroom. However, I could see that they added more runes in their pentagrams, which could be the reason for their constant failures. From what I could see, the runes were way more complicated and denser, and the energy they required to be drawn was way higher than the normal runes that you would learn in the basic class.I could see some of them being written on the blackboard with a few descriptions below them."Automatic Defense" "Energy absorption from the surroundings" "Teleportation"Automatic Defense was a rune that would add a backlash to those who attacked the barrier, being a level higher than deflection, energy absorp
I looked at Shira's concentrated expression and I found it to be rather cute. I almost couldn't help but want to boop her nose, but I stopped myself considering she was in the middle of comprehending the double-layer barrier pentagram, and my actions would most likely make her fail and begin once again from the start. I stood near her as I meditated, musing upon the combinations and powers of barriers, along with recalling any powerful auras from the classrooms that I visited that I could recruit into my future faction. I didn't need them to be as strong as me or Shira, but I couldn't take any stray weakling by my side either. As long as they were peaked out in their energy/bodily strength departments, they would be good enough to recruit. From the expressions and tones of the teachers I interacted with, my and Shira's progress was extremely quick, meaning that we should be able to rally some people under our 'budding faction' as long we revealed ourselves properly. I scratched m
While Lisar was quite bored, he wasn't so out of it that he wouldn't sense my gaze. After the beating I gave him, he seemed to have upped his training if the blisters on his hands and the fact that his aura had darkened even further meant anything. He wasn't sure why I was alone, and I was looking at him, but he seemed to have learned his lesson so he didn't antagonize me, he just waved weakly as he wasn't sure what I wanted.I waved back at him with a small polite smile as I got up from my desk and approached his desk.Lisar wasn't sure what to do as he saw me approach him, so he got up from his desk and asked warily:"What do you want?"His wary gaze made me look at him with a new light, even though his previous actions could be considered foolish at best, it looked like he learned his place rather quickly.I shook my head and put my hand forward as I said:"I'm sorry about what happened before, you just pushed my buttons a little wrong, I hope you can forgive me for my 'extreme' ac
The production rune was certainly quite peculiar, and the great difficulty of learning it was pretty offputting, but its ability to create life from pure energy was certainly something that could be of use to create resources and living places. Not only that, I would most likely be able to influence the creation of the planet/Heaven and make it my weapon.Having a planet as a weapon was certainly quite tempting, unfortunately, I was unable to grasp the power of the production rune yet, I was, unfortunately, lacking the full knowledge of a mastered law that was most likely needed to insert in some points of the rune to make it work.Fufflesnake was able to shine some light on my previous guesses, so I gave him a small nod which he reciprocated before he looked at his other students."Well, what do you two want to learn today?"I started to zone out as the knowledge he was going to give them wasn't necessarily useful for me anymore.I would wait here until the lesson ended so I could go
