Jairo was quite surprised by the news he had just heard from one of his men. He was one of his most trusted men, so the servant knew about Ruby.
Jairo looked at the clock in his hand. The party was about to start. He had to introduce Noah to all the guests if he was the next head of the family. But looking back at the problem he had just received, Jairo thought this was a severe problem.
"I think I should tell the young master. You must find out about the person who will harm Miss Ruby." Jairo gave his orders.
Without waiting for a reply, Jairo immediately met his master, who was still in the previous place.
Jairo's footsteps made Noah move his cold eyes to Jairo. He had been preparing for his new life again. But as he looked at Jairo, he saw the anxiety on Jairo's face.
Noah's forehead was furrowed, while one eyebrow seemed to be raised. "Is it time already?" Noah asked with a serious face.
Noah rose before Jairo and prepared to straighten the shirt he was wearing. Noah glanced down at his shirt and realized he hadn't changed his clothes yet.
"Young master, it is indeed time for you to go and introduce yourself as the next head of the family. But something is going on. It's about Miss Ruby." Jairo gave a remark that made Noah move his head back to look at Jairo.
"What is it?" He asked with a cold expression on his face.
"Young master, I just got word from one of the waiters. He saw that the man who was with Miss Ruby had put something into Miss Ruby's drink. It's just that Miss Ruby is still in the restroom. And he is the same man who came with Miss Ruby." Jairo explained what he knew from one of the waiters.
Noah sharpened his gaze on Jairo. His face looked grave, and he knew Noah was talking about Dario. "What happened after that?"
Jairo shook his head regretfully. "Young master, I don't know. I've sent a servant to find out about this."
Noah's gaze sharpened. "Then why are you here? You should have stopped it before something bad happened." His voice sounded stern.
Jairo was transfixed. He knew Ruby and his master's relationship was not very good. Moreover, the woman had insulted him and chose to leave his master. He didn't think his master would care about her. Even so, he had asked his servant to find out the next thing.
Jairo bowed his head without daring to say anything to his master. He felt very guilty. "Young master, I'm sorry that I didn't think that you would still care about Miss Ruby."
Meanwhile, Noah was silent and thinking about Ruby. It was true that they had divorced, but he couldn't let Ruby be in danger. Thinking about Dario putting something in Ruby's drink, Noah wondered if Dario might have bad intentions. He didn't want Dario to harass Ruby or make any other malicious attacks.
Noah didn't give Jairo any answers. He no longer cared about the party that was about to start. Then he moved to leave.
Meanwhile, Jairo looked at him anxiously. "Young master, where are you going?"
Noah kept walking and ignored Jairo. He neither answered Jairo's call nor turned to look at him.
Noah walked quickly to Ruby's place, but when he arrived, he did not find Ruby and Dario. Their table was empty, and they had certainly left the party room.
Meanwhile, Jairo did not let his master go alone. He moved to catch up with his master. "Young master, it seems he has taken Miss Ruby away."
Noah stared at him. Noah's hands were clenched into fists. "I need to find out where they are. I wonder if he has bad intentions with Ruby. I'll find out right now." Noah muttered with a flushed face.
Jairo nodded his head. "Very well, young master. I'll handle the party. And I will not reveal your identity before you will return." Jairo spoke in a firm voice.
For now, he was worried about Ruby. After all, he still loved Ruby. And Noah was not thinking about the party. He immediately left Jairo and barged out. Noah ignored the two bodyguards guarding the front door and the few people looking at him sarcastically.
Noah ran until he stopped when he reached the front parking lot. He looked at the luxury cars parked there, wondering if Dario might still be around.
Noah turned around and looked for them, but instead, he saw a luxurious red car passing in front of him. And unintentionally, his eyes saw Ruby in the car, looking unconscious.
"Ruby?" Noah called softly. He knew it wouldn't make Ruby hear him. But he had lost the chance to chase after her quickly because, by this time the car had passed and left the building area.
Noah became quite anxious thinking about Ruby's condition. He had come without a car, so he couldn't move fast enough to follow the car. But in the midst of his anxiety, Noah remembered that there were several spare cars in the building. He could use them to chase after Dario's car that took Ruby away.
Noah immediately called Jairo. "Quick, send me a car. I just saw them leave, and I need to catch up before they get any further."
A nod was not seen on the other end of the line. "Young master, I will send a car for you immediately."
Without waiting long, a metallic black car pulled up before him. "Sir?" The voice made Noah turn to the servant who brought the car.
Noah immediately moved to get into the black car. And Noah immediately asked the valet to run the car at high speed. But he had the misfortune of completely losing track of Ruby.
"Where did Dario take her?" Noah hit the dashboard in annoyance.
But just as he was feeling depressed, a phone call rang out. Noah quickly looked at his cell phone and noticed an incoming call from Jairo. Quickly, he answered it. "What's up?"
"Young master, I apologize for being late to update you. Ten minutes ago, I just got word from the previous waiter that he had gotten all the information about that man, including the car that the man with Miss Ruby was driving." Jairo explained.
This was enough to make Noah feel relieved. "Find out where they took Ruby from the car number you got."
"Very well, young master. I'll get back to you as soon as I can." Jairo disconnected the call. He worked very quickly to find out Ruby's whereabouts.
After a while, Noah's cell phone rang again. And it was Jairo calling back, and he quickly answered it.
"Young sir, I just got word that the man took Miss Ruby to a seven-star hotel. That is the Sharing-La Star Hotel. And it is one of the hotels owned by the Galashiel family." Jairo gave the information he had just gotten.
Noah was both shocked and angered by what he had just heard. He immediately sped up his vehicle to get to the Sharing-La Star Hotel.
