Chapter 43 - Mind Seal

Although Daniel's attack seemed easy and not very dangerous, Jeffrey felt that all the energy in his body suddenly disappeared. He felt as if his entire body was instantly paralyzed.

Not long after that, Jeffrey's body collapsed to the ground.

He could only stare at Daniel in anger. But there was nothing he could do. He couldn't even move his lips to vent his frustration, let alone curse Daniel.

Then Daniel reached out and touched Jeffrey's shoulder. Suddenly the space around them changed.

They were now in a large room with closed doors and windows. Apart from the minimal lighting, the room didn't look very spacious. It was about a quarter the size of the living room in Drummond Castle where they had been before.

There was a large rectangular table in the room, surrounded by twelve chairs. There was one chair at the end of the table and five chairs on each side. All the chairs were occupied by people dressed in fine clothes. They were also all wearing black masks.
