Chapter 156: Sword making

“Clang! Clang!” The sound produced with each swung of my hammer toward the scourging hot metal. Sparks came flying.

“That’s nice… Continue the good work.”

I don’t know if it was safe to say that this is metal. This burning red hot material was the branch I get from the Demon tree. I’m sitting near the furnace, shaping the material using my held hammer.

I wanted a sword that wasn’t too thin or too thick…

Forging a sword can be dangerous, and it is up to you to decide how sharp your sword will be. Before you start, plan out your project in great detail, down to your intention for making the sword. Is it an ornamental piece that will hang on your wall, or will it be functional and sharp? After doing ample research and finding a master swordsmith (Eika) to learn from, you can start to make your sword.
