Drake landed heavily on the ground and if it were any other person, he or she would be dead but because of Drake's training and the abilities and potential he possesses as a now special umbra hunter he wasn't hurt or killed.

"Who is this goddamn crazy driver?"

Drake who earlier couldn't tell how he was feeling fully attested fully that it was anger and it had now been infuriated after being run down the moment he left the used to-be Wayland's Mansion.

In the midst of Drake's angry remarks and curse, a thin little voice cried out "why don't you fucking look right, left and then right before crossing?"

In a jiffy, a beautiful young lady alighted from the black Ferrari. She was wearing a blue half-length dress and killer heels which made her seductive. Nevertheless, she was staring angrily at Drake who was still lying down pretentiously.

Furrowing his eye brows Drake decided to lie down rather than stand up but in the next moment he was up unharmed. The little bruises he received had all cleared up. He had the ability to heal himself in a very short time if he activated his healing rune wit his stele.

"Which of us do you think is blind? Don't you have breaks? Obviously, you knocked into me and Instead of feeling compunction you're running your mouth which doesn't match with your pretty face. " Drake retorted.

" What gives you the effrontery to shout at me? "

While glaring at Drake the lady suddenly raised her legs to kick at Drake but she was too slow that Drake easily dodged it.

Considering she was wearing stilettos, her heels were equivalent of a sharp dagger and if she were to plunge one at Drake, he would definitely cause a stab wound.

Just then an old man climbed down from the right side of the black Mercedes benz. He was surrounded by an air of authority and influence and most likely important. However his face was pale and his breathing was very rapid. He exuded the nobility of a king and his past life he exuded a dark aura, but he was now willing to change for good.

After shouting at the lady to stop. He held onto the car for support as he desperately was trying to catch his breathe.

"Dad, why did you come down?" The young lady rushed to assist his old man.

"Let's not waste our judicious time, let's rush to the hospital asap" the middle aged man panted to which the young lady nodded.

Upon returning to Drake, he scrutinized him and just deduced he was from Earth-2 of Delta city. She wondered where all the bruises must have gone. But she didn't ask,she dipped hands into her pulse and brought out a stack of cash of which he threw almost all to him. But instead of taking the cash he just smiled weirdly.

Her father was obviously sick and was in need of urgent medical attention and that if care is not taken, the old man would die.

"Mundanes indeed" he chuckled to himself and wondering why he has not meant any Downworlder yet. Obviously, vampires don't work on daylight except the Daylighters which were rare.

He stood in silence and watched the man cough out like thrice as the lady helped her father get back into the car and proceed with rushing to the hospital.

Then Drake broke the unfolding event.

"Your father's condition is dire due to his sino atrial node that got severed and in less than two minutes he will suffer from a breathing difficulty and suffocate to death. Can you make it to the hospital in just two minutes? Drake asked the young lady calmly.

"You're bluffing... Dad let's -"

"Samantha!!" The old man snapped at her before taking three steps towards Drake wearing an astonished look, he questioned.

"My dear, How do you know about my ailment?" The man;Darwin had always kept this illness to himself, not even a single doctor in the city had been able to diagnose it. Thus,he was wondering how this young dude did it by just mere scrutinizing him.

"You wouldn't understand even if I try explaining it to you, and I have no time to waste with the both of you, I have a very important task to accomplish" Drake replied and turned to leave but then he was stopped by the old man who went down on his kneels, he was so desperate to live few more years.

"Please save me....." The old man cried and pleaded . By this time he had just one minute before he finally kicks the bucket. No one would expect the almighty, wealthy, powerful and influential man to kneel down to beg a seemingly ordinary guy.

Drake still had humanity within him and as such felt pity for him and moved his fingers through the man's stylostixis and exhaled an invisible breathe into the man's nostril which nobody noticed.

He didn't let the fact that the old man's daughter was rude to him before that moment. He chose not to pay evil with evil. Afterall,he was not the type that goes from places to places healing anyone sick.

His movement were so swift and fast that nobody had the time to stop him.

The old man colour was Gradually returning and his breathe was getting stabilized.

"I have only stopped you for dying for now, if proper treatment are not made in two days time, you'll eventually die" said Drake as he turned to leave.

Samantha who had just witnessed the miracles that had just happened and astounded of the glow returning to his father's cheek and improvement in his condition stopped him and gave him his dad's invitation card.

"Maybe he could come around and treat my Dad. All the medical doctors in Delta city are afterall fed up with his condition."

She didn't really like him, plus he was obviously from Earth-2 and can't have possibly went to the medical school. So, how does he have this kind of medicinal skills? She asked herself.

"Your dad is the CEO of Darwin's Collection?" Drake asked as he stared at the card he had just accepted, he initially didn't want to accept it but when he caught the glimpse of the Jagaba regiment symbol , he quickly took it.

Darwin owned the jagaban regiment out of the seven regiment in the cities, Delta city inclusive. They are subsect regiment.

Samantha nodded, which obviously conveyed the word "Yes".

"Thank you young man for saving my life,I really can't thank you enough." The old man grabbed Drake's hand and expressed his gratitude continuously.

"Please ensure to honour the invitation I'd really love to dine with you." The old man said forgetting his status. He had never been seen dining with ordinary or commoners. Only those who walked on the corridor of wealth and power had the privilege and the honour of dining with him as one of the richest in Delta city.

"Also, don't forget to visit the barbing salon before coming, you stink ." Samantha added. Of a truth, she didn't like Drake from his looks but she had no choice, she had to keep her dad safe.

And after Drake acknowledge the invitation he hurried to Earth-2. All through his stay at the Shinigami island, Delta city had been booming. On his way he saw numerous bar and nightclubs. The city was bustling with people.

Right then Drake spotted a familiar figure when he walked pass a hotel dumort. It was young adult dressed in fine clothes. About eighteen of age. She was walking into the hotel with few other girls of her age.

"Isn't that Clara?....... My sister?"

Meanwhile at Darwin's mansion...Clara was trying to draw the thing that had attacked her in the dream. She was still reminiscing on that as she took her sketchpad and started working out something. She was still feeling uncomfortable.“And his arm looked like an eggplant,” Clara muttered to herself in exasperation. The drawing just wasn’t working. With a sigh she tore yet another sheet from her sketchpad, crumpled it up, and tossed it against the orange wall of the bedroom. Already the floor was littered with discarded balls of paper, a sure sign that her creative juices weren’t flowing the way she’d hoped. Clara pulled her headphones out—cutting off Stepping Razor in mid song—and rubbed her aching temples. It was only then that she became aware that the loud, piercing sound of a ringing telephone was echoing through the apartment. Tossing the sketchpad onto the bed, she jumped to her feet and ran into the living room, where the retro-red phone sat on a table near the front door.“H
