"What you're intending to do won't save him, it'll only kill him!" Drake commented seeing the way the lady Doctor was inserting the silver needles into Darwin's acupoints, it was very poor, Left very little to imagination.

"This made the latter knit her eyebrows. Will you get this unprofessional out of this room now, I don't need any distractions!"" The lady demanded.

Despite feeling incensed and that the saving of Darwin was the priority and that she would do anything to save him at that instant, she lunged at Drake.

"You have no idea what they're doing, yet you speak negatively. Get out!" She barked.

It's acupuncture and it's a part or Chinese traditional medical technique. A treatment of pain or disease by inserting the tips of needles at specific points on the skin. It usually takes decades of study for one to be professional. Even professionals can revive the dead with it.

"Don't tell me you know acupuncture? " The lady asked in surprise.

"I have practiced it" Drake replied.

In disbelief, she frowned at him and continued what she was doing. Samantha feeling Afraid that Drake would disrupt the process barked for the second time for Drake to exit the room and so he did quietly without muttering any words.

It was when he was about closing the door behind him that he turned and said, "I'll be waiting at the corridor and in less than a minute you'll be out here begging me to come back and save him".

Suddenly, a huge amount of information began flooding the into Drake's head, at this moment, all he could was that his head was full and was almost splitting apart;like his head was radiating some heats. It took a long while before this reaction stopped, a streak of light was flowing in his vision as he watched Darwin's lying helplessly on the bed.

The team of doctors were running out of ideas and Darwin was losing time. Drake could clearly see that Darwin's life force was yet to cease completely and so, he had a chances of survival. He shut the door behind him and went to sit at the seat along the corridor.

Meanwhile, the team of doctors continued racking their brain continuing what they were doing but it's effects wasn't being seen, by now Darwin ought to have blinked his eyes, he was slowly dying away.

When the lady Doctor inserted the last silver needle, Darwin began to tremble more violently. He looked to be in an excruciating pain, his face was turning white.

"Daddy,Daddy!" Samantha yelled as she turned to the doctors in panic. "Dr's,what's happening?"

At that moment even the doctors couldn't know what to do. They were wondering what was happening and how it turned out that way.

Suddenly in desperation, Samantha roared at the doctor's.

"If anything happens to my dad, you'll will pay for it!"

At the same time, Darwin's shiver had died off, even his breathe couldn't be felt at all. Seeing that, the doctors fear got stimulated and panic intensified.

"If anything happens to him, we'll have to face the consequences which will definitely be dire!"

The doctors murmured to themselves unable to find something to do. Suddenly one of the bespectacled doctors suggested anxiously that they should take Darwin to the hospital. He was obviously looking for an escape route so that they can't take the blame if he died at the hospital.

"Daddy...... Daddy.....Dad.... Father!, please wake up!, Don't do this to me" Samantha cried out as tears fell of her cheeks ,she was shaking her dad vigorously as if trying to wake him up from sleep.

Frowning at the doctor who made the suggestion to shirk their responsibility,if Darwin died at the hospital it wouldn't be their fault.

"Do you think I'm a fool! You had better save my Dad now! I know he won't make it to the hospital in the juxtaposition of his surreal situation!" Samantha exploded, after having lost her rational mind.

Darwin's family is a very powerful family in the whole of Delta city and killing a team of doctors would mean nothing, the government wouldn't bulge either.

The head doctor got stricken in terror by her throat. Nonetheless, despite being a top Ranking cardiologist she was out of ideas. Suddenly it dawned on her, she wanted to save her skin and those of her collegues and from her prediction Darwin was definitely going to die. "What do I do?" She snapped her finger and suddenly remembered the young man that said he would be waiting at the corridor.

"Ms Darwin, the young man that had just left could have a solution, maybe he knows one or two things...I mean he did show sign he knew something!"

Those words reminded Samantha of Drake and immediately and without no momentary hesitation she dashed out of the room to call Drake in and maybe he has a solution.

The head doctor heaved a sigh of relief, evidently, she was planning to let Drake take the blame and she and her collegues would be off the hock. To absolve themselves any responsibility even if Darwin was already dead, if Drake just steps in to treat him they would let him take the blame.

It was almost a minute already, Drake was at the corridor anticipating Samantha to come call him in so as to save her father, after all she would have no option.

When she reached the corridor and saw Drake at the corridor she rushed to him and when she was about spouting the words out she realized she doesn't know how to address him.

"My dad is dying.... Please I plead with you, come save my father..." Samantha pleaded with an awkward expression all over her face with a crying tone.

When Drake raised his head gradually, Samantha averted her gaze not wanting to make an eye contact, she didn't even dare to. Not too long ago,she was berating him and now she has ended begging him.

Darwin was dying slowly at the room and the team of doctors praying so that Drake's agrees to come in so that they could transfer the blame on him.

"Do you believe I can save your father now?" Drake asked mildly as he chuckled upon noticing Samantha's expressions, something about them aroused something he felt weird in him.

Samantha kept silent, she didn't know what to say. Afterall, she hadn't fully trusted Drake yet but she had no other option but to agree.

Looking at her reaction, Drake didn't wanted to make things more difficult for her thus the next second he went back to the room while Samantha followed behind him quickly.

She noticed the team of doctors pacing back and forth, upon seeing Drake coming into the room, they all felt like their savior had arrived. If he could revive Darwin, Good for them and if he can't, Bad for Drake alone, they would be able to play the blame game and save their skin.

With no time to waste, Drake dropped into action and excitement suffused the team of doctors. One left with the excuse of being press while originally he was leaving the mansion peradventure something bad happens. 'prevention is better than cure' he would always say.

Left with the three doctors, one had started to urinate on himself, he was shaking in fear. Samantha didn't quite paid much attention to that as her priority was for her dad to be revived.

"Give me a pair of needles!"

    Knocked Out

Meanwhile at Darwin's mansion...Clara was trying to draw the thing that had attacked her in the dream. She was still reminiscing on that as she took her sketchpad and started working out something. She was still feeling uncomfortable.“And his arm looked like an eggplant,” Clara muttered to herself in exasperation. The drawing just wasn’t working. With a sigh she tore yet another sheet from her sketchpad, crumpled it up, and tossed it against the orange wall of the bedroom. Already the floor was littered with discarded balls of paper, a sure sign that her creative juices weren’t flowing the way she’d hoped. Clara pulled her headphones out—cutting off Stepping Razor in mid song—and rubbed her aching temples. It was only then that she became aware that the loud, piercing sound of a ringing telephone was echoing through the apartment. Tossing the sketchpad onto the bed, she jumped to her feet and ran into the living room, where the retro-red phone sat on a table near the front door.“H
