The crowds shifted around eagerly as they stared at the two reluctant girls who looked like they were about to cry for a completely different reason now.

“Well?!” One of the customers finally spoke up after waiting for a few minutes. “Are you going to tell us! Or released us from this damn prison!” He yelled and Mason turned to glare at Michelle and Brietta, his warning clear.

“W_we will speak.” Michelle muttered. “Truth is_.” She stopped her statement, panting heavily at the thought of the painful embarrassment that awaited her.

“We lied!” Brietta completed her sentence, her hands twisting and bruising each other as her eyes stared at the ground as if it was the most fascinating thing she had seen in a while.
