On the day of Vivian's final hearing, she was surprisingly calm, she never would have thought that with her feet halfway to prison she could ever be filled with such serenity and peace.

Personally, she knew it was simply because of the decision she had made, now she felt less of a monster and more of a mother, it was the best thing she had felt in a while.

Deep down she could only pray that her daughter's would be there, as she had left a lot unsaid, and she was only now aware of how limited her time was.

“Inmate 103!” The warden shouted, and Vivian stood up from where she had been sitting in her holding cell with difficulty. It was perhaps because of the rapid change in lifestyle, but all she had been feeling was cramps, everywhere.
