Gerald has always been very efficient and effective in his line of work as personal assistant for two generations now, he knew the Wildes and their vices like he knew the back of his hand and was always ready and armed to defend them, cause they were full of flaws they also possessed a charming grace.

He could still remember when Mason's father stormed out of the house with the little boy in town, he could vividly remember Mason's tears and the Grandfather obstinate reaction, and how his son called him heartless and stormed away, never to return. But he was also aware of the broken state of Mr Wilde and how he never fully recovered mentally and physically, and how he lived in affliction till he eventually passed. Protecting the Wildes had always been his duty, and he was not about to stop now.
