The Rodneys all sat around Madam Rodney's hospital bed, and they were all looking slightly out of place as they shuffled their feets and twiddle their thumbs, never in their life had they anticipated something of this magnitude happening to any of them, and certainly not from the hands of family. Jason thought back to Scarlett's stunned face after everything had happened and he scoffed in derision. She was a bloody idiot, stupid and weak, and he hoped to the heavens above and whoever might be listening that his cousin got her due. Just then his phone rang, and he hesitated, with his current state he was unsure if he would ever be able to face anyone. Looking at the screen, he blanched. The worst of the worst was calling: his fiancee Emerald Wilson, and she was definitely worse than a hundred nosy paparazzi combined.
