To have plans go in the exact way you wanted would have been a good thing but not for Dominic Maverick Jr.

Not when his plans could have only gone as planned if he enacted it himself.

The six Force vans in Archer’s compound distressed him the more he thought about it.

With his grip tightened on the steering wheel, Maverick stepped on the gas pedal, speeding through the busy streets of downtown Utah.

As soon as he arrived, Maverick stepped down, and headed straight to the boys' quarters. His heart thumping heavily in his chest. He couldn’t shake the feeling that something had gone wrong with his plan.

The neatly arranged compound stretched out before him, each area of the massive estate guarded by iron gates of skulls and bones design.

Maverick’s eyes swept over the sprawling mansion, looking around for a feeble-looking boy.

“Xavier!” He thundered as he approached the entranceway to the boy’s quarters, rather briskly across the compound.
