"Who was it? Who sent them?" Mason asked and braced himself for whoever it was.

"It was your father. The king sent them. Their phones were scrutinized. Their call, their last calls and messages and it really correlates what they were saying. We traced it back and forth and the king sent them. But I don't understand why so I don't think we should jump into conclusion yet…" Mason cuts him off. He had suspected that the king was behind it but hoped that it was wrong. He would have been a bit relieved if it was the queen prior to them having beef and not in a good term.

"It's okay and it's true." Mason cuts into his words. Jane gasped and stared down at the floor. She was really hoping it wasn't true. She was hoping that it wouldn't be him.
