The smell of human blood was so strong in air. Panting, grunting, groans, this got the atmosphere suffocating.

The suffocating atmosphere meant nothing to me, as I stared at the one laying in the floor in pain. He was breathing heavily and was covered in blood. He had multiple cuts, which were caused by sharp claws of his attacker.
