"As if that wasn't enough, he threatened to make sure I'd be ruined." Zara frowned as she sipped from her glass of juice.

"Why is he hell bent on taking the company from you?" Arjun asked.

Zara hissed,"Said something about me being a woman and that I knew nothing about business. I'm sure Jigyasa's the one who told him."

Arjun scoffed, "His age must be affecting his sense of reasoning. Who has been handling the company while he was in coma?"

Zara clapped her hands, "Exactly what I said. But he wasn't listening, all he kept yapping about was the ownership of the company. Honestly, he makes me feel like he's just after power and nothing else."

Arjun hummed, "You may be right. But he's old. What would he need the power for? I mean, should he even be stressing about these things?"

Zara chuckled, "Seems you don't know who Sidd Khan is. Even at old age, the workers still tremble in his presence. He's probably after the company now so it can add to his egotistical behavior."
