"You all should go on your knees; anything you do or say shall be used against you in the law court," a policeman yelled.

Rex gulped in shock. He didn't expect that to happen; he had counted himself to be in a risky situation the moment the company security men rushed to attack him.

Just as he was gazing toward the policemen, Ava alighted from the car, smiling. She walked over to Rex and gave him a heartwarming hug.

"Thank you for saving me," Rex let out. From her expression, he realized she was the one who called the corps.

The corps walked over to the spot where Mr. Thomas was lying and handcuffed him before helping him get up from the ground.

He stood and shamelessly followed the corps that held him. The rest of the corps pointed their guns toward the company's security guards as they surrendered. They led them to their van while the special agent for Mr. Thomas was arrested and handcuffed as well.
