Rex thought for a while. He wondered who the person could be because the last person he expected to visit him was the waitress who served him the food he was eating. He took courage and responded.

"Who's there?" he asked.

"The hotel attendant, sir, I'm really sorry for disturbing you at this time. Someone claimed to know you, and she requested to meet you in your room, but we refused her, so we decided to hear from you first as she resisted leaving, insisting to meet you," the staff man uttered.

Rex thought about who that could be. He knew he did not invite anyone to visit him in the hotel because no one knew he was there. Had the staff said the person was a man, he could wonder if it was Jackson because he was the only one who knew he was there.

"Well—well, let him in," Rex replied.

The man left, and Rex went back to munch on his dinner while waiting for the person who claims she knows him.

As he was eating, the urge to meet the person increased.
