39: A Painting On The Wall

He saw Mr. Barn running in his direction, pleading.

"So you really like your position, yet you don't want others to prosper?" Rex asked him. "Well, I'll get you a new job, but for this firm, I don't think it's suitable for you to manage."

He dipped his hand in his chest pocket, brought out his card, and gave it to him.

"This is my contact; call me by 6:50 p.m. today and I will tell you everything about your new work," he concluded, leaving the man and walking in the direction Jackson packed the car.

"First mission accomplished, now back to the school saga; this is exactly how I'll be dealing with them all," he muttered and entered the car. They sped off to Mr. Alphonsus's residence.

As they arrived, he told Jackson the mission was not yet over and to get ready to drive him back to New Heaven Estate.

He rushed to his room and picked up most of his clothes, leaving only the ones he would be wearing whenever he visited his grandfather or came for a holiday.
