Immediately, there was a group of people with a very beautiful lady accompanying them; this put Rex in dismay, as he wasn't expecting to see anyone among them.

"We heard what happened, and we're really sorry for what happened; thankfully, you weren't injured," the first guy stated.

"Rex, please next time minimize your speeding limit if you don't yet know how to drive; we're really sorry," the lady remarked with a deadpan attitude.

Rex smiled as he just heard what Cassandra said— the same Cassandra that locked him up in the police station with his boyfriend and always trolled him at school. Did Cassandra really come for solace, or did she come to know if Rex was too injured for her taste?
