"And where is he? We're the only two people in this office, of course," Mr. Darius responded as he became confused about what Rex said.

Rex let out a grin, drew his chair closer to the table, and made a remark that sent the man aback.

"I'm the buyer, Mr. Darius; you're surprised, aren't you? Well, I'm the one who intended to buy it right when you disclosed to me that it was on sale."

"Are you kidding? Rex, we're not here for a prank; let's go straight to the reason why we are here. If the buyer had failed, just let me know it's nothing compared to so many deals I've lost in the past," the man stated.

"And I'm damn serious about it, man. First and foremost, I'm sorry for not letting you know about it; I was somehow afraid it would not work if I had let you know earlier about it, so can I have the papers where I will sign?" He politely asked.

"Are you for real? Well, how could you afford to buy this company? Well, that's not a relevant question anyway, as I don't know your net worth." M
